We were looking for restaurants to eat around Greenbelt 5 that was not that really expensive. And so, we found ourselves inside Solihiya. Solihiya is a fusion of Filipino and Chinese. It was Friday last week when we first tried Red Mango in Trinoma. Red Mango is just one of the frozen yogurt chains that sprouted all over Manila. Last Thursday, a platter design challenge was held at Fish and Co. Prior to the event, we were asked to send ingredients that we would like to use for the assigned theme. Malaysian-themed fish and chips was inspired and I had a hard time picking up which ingredients simply because of Malaysian recipes are quite similar to its neighboring countries. (more…)

We got invited to the press launch of Sweet Harmony Gardens in Taytay, Rizal. Sweet Harmony Gardens is a 1.5 hectare events place. It has a three-storey building with different banquet halls. It has seven amazing venues: Wonderful Spring Garden, Precious Greens Garden, Majestic Upper Room, Amazing Haven Above, Worship Garden, Blissful Barn House, and Courtyard Open Space. It was recently that we discovered that California Berry has already a branch in Paseo Center. We really loved though to check their branch at Silver City (near Tiendesitas) but we really don’t go there often. When we first discovered it there, we were already about to try but they were already closing.
