Seafood lovers would call Diosdoda Macapagal Avenue their haven. Prior to the restaurants found along the area, there’s the famous Dampa at Paranaque City. And there was Seafood Market which is also like Dampa-style (you even have to shop also for the vegetables aside from the seafood itself). Hummous
We celebrated Mother’s day at Cyma Estiatorio in Greenbelt 2 since Mom is craving for something Greek. 😀 For our appetizer, we had Hummous (which is really spelled as Hummus but they spelled it that way in the menu) served with 2 pita breads (each pita bread divided into four). Hummous is a dip made of mashed chickpeas (garbanzos) blended with tahini, lemon juice, salt and garlic. (more…)

Lasa Manila is actually a sister company of Masas. We tried their Bicol Express, Nilasing na Hipon and Baked Tahong which has the same pricing scheme with Masas and has the same pictures in the menu (based from our observation). (more…)
Yearning for Japanese food yet you want something that could fit in your 100-peso budget? Well, this 19 pieces of assorted sushi and maki that costs 99 pesos from Maki Mi Sushi is a must try. We discovered it in the heart of SM Megamall’s food court. The largest serving consists of 150 pieces of assorted sushi and maki which costs PhP 780.00. Sha’s cousin, Vieve, was craving for seafoods. Since we’re near Market! Market!, I suggested Trinity. 🙂 At Trinity, you have to “market” first the food that has to be cooked. It’s already summer. The scorching heat instantly reminded me of the movie Temptation Island. The scene in particular is a giant scoop of ice cream on a cone found in the middle of a deserted island which is actually a hallucination. Anyway, I think I’ve had enough of ice cream. Doughnuts that I got from Krispy Kreme 🙂
Krispy Kreme will open in Ayala this March. Sharlyne, who wrote a pledge of her love for the doughnuts, saw the sign already. 😀 Here’s the official announcement from the Krispy Kreme Philippines website:
